SwellPath became an official sponsor of WordCamp Portland this week. If you’re not familiar with WordCamp, and you’re active or interested in blogging, or building great simple websites, you should check it out. WordCamp is the annual gathering of WordPress enthusiasts and WordPress-curious folks to discuss and learn about all things WordPress. This year WordCamp Portland will be at my old stomping grounds, WebTrends, on September 19th and 20th. Registration cost was really modest last year, and I anticipate the same this year. The lineup is already really impressive, and should only get better.
We here at SwellPath are big advocates for WordPress, as you may have noticed our site is built on WordPress. I’ve been building sites in WordPress for a few years now, and I am continually impressed with the support and offering of plugins and themes, as well as the progress and improvements that are constantly made to the platform. You can learn more about WordCamp Portland here, and learn more about WordPress here. Hope to see you at WordCamp!
