We thought that after our new offices why stop there, let’s get a new site! Here are a few of the elements you’ll notice:
Usability
One of the first things you’ll notice on the site is the limited navigation; 3 main navigation paths – Our Services, Our Clients and About Us. We utilized analytics data from our old site to reduce options and drive users down silos that they felt were the most important. We included a utility navigation (top right) and a large search bar to further the overall usability of the new site.
SEO v. Design
Some SEOers may scoff at our use of images on the site, but we felt a balance of SEO and design allowed us achieve our post-click and pre-click marketing initiatives. We still use WordPress as our CMS, due to it’s flexibility and the love relationship it has with Google.
Analytics
We’re using multiple analytics platforms on the site; Google Analytics as our main platform and Woopra as our secondary platform – allowing us to get real-time data on our visitors.
Social Media
Practice what you preach, right? Check out our universal footer with links to our Facebook Page, Flickr and Twitter accounts. This is Phase I of the new SwellPath site, we’ll have more updates coming soon. So, what do you think?
