Google has been resisting delivering it’s search results via RSS for quite some time. They now confirm that they will begin offering RSS feeds of their results as an extension of Google Alerts. This is a big deal if you’re a heavy user of RSS and constantly monitoring the search results either for your online reputation or SEO. RSS is the best way to get real-time data from multiple sources on the web. Once the RSS feed results go into affect, you’ll be able to plug them into your favorite reader and easily be able to monitor and track changes to your listings.
